Dental X-rays are an important tool in the diagnosis and treatment of dental problems. Only X-rays necessary for the dentist to fully diagnose your dental condition will be taken. They do not, however, replace the need for a visual examination of the head, neck, temporomandibluar joints and oral cavity. It is only with the combination of both x-rays and the visual examination that we can best treat our patients. Please be assured that our practice uses only the most modern, low exposure X-ray equipment and that all precautions are being taken. We are very aware of the legitimate concerns people have towards X-rays of any kind.
